About Savannah Window Fashions
Expertise Makes the Difference
A local, family-owned business built around skilled craft, knowledgeable guidance, and relationships that last beyond installation.
Custom window treatments are personal to your home and the way you live in it. We believe the experience of creating them should feel just as considered.
At Savannah Window Fashions, that means knowledgeable guidance, clear communication, skilled craftsmanship, and a team that takes responsibility for the details from beginning to end. We take the time to understand what you need, explain your options, and make the process feel organized and collaborative.
At Home in Savannah & the Lowcountry
Our experience spans historic properties, coastal residences, new construction, and large-scale renovations throughout Savannah and the Lowcountry. We understand that every home comes with its own architecture, priorities, and way of living—and the right window treatments should respond to all three.
We work with homeowners and design professionals who value knowledgeable guidance, quality craftsmanship, and an organized, collaborative process.
THE HOMES AND CLIENTS WE WORK WITH
Our clients share a few things in common. They care about their homes. Many have had a window treatment experience that didn’t go as hoped, with wrong measurements, hardware that failed, or a disorganized process, and they don’t want to repeat it. They value an expert who communicates clearly and handles the details.
THE HOMES AND CLIENTS WE WORK WITH
Historic
Homes
Savannah's historic properties demand a particular level of care. Uneven floors, original trim profiles, and windows that aren't perfectly square all require precise measurement. We treat these details as part of the craft, not obstacles to it.
Luxury New
Construction
New builds in Palmetto Bluff, The Landings, and along the coast bring scale and coordination requirements of their own. We work alongside your builder and design team to plan, specify, and install window treatments that match the home's ambition.
Vacation
Homes
Many of our clients manage Lowcountry vacation homes from out of state. We serve as your trusted local partner, handling site visits, selections, and installation so your home is finished beautifully without requiring you to be here.
Large-Scale
Renovations
Whole-home renovations involve many moving parts. We coordinate with your contractor and other trades, manage specifications and lead times, and keep the soft goods phase organized from demolition through final installation.
That foundation shapes how Nikki approaches her work at Savannah Window Fashions. Rather than arriving with a predetermined solution, she built a process grounded in listening: how clients use each room, who’s in it, what time of day, how much privacy they need, how they feel about light. Those answers shape every recommendation.
Since taking ownership, Nikki has built the systems, team, and vendor relationships that let Savannah Window Fashions handle the full range of projects the Lowcountry demands. She remains deeply committed to the craft itself, to the skill and precision of fabricating custom window treatments in an industry where it’s increasingly easy to cut corners.
Thirty Years of Trust. A Legacy Built on Craft.
Savannah Window Fashions has been part of the Savannah design community for more than 30 years, building a reputation for quality custom window treatments and skilled craftsmanship.
Nikki Greenwood became the owner of Savannah Window Fashions in 2020, carrying that foundation forward while expanding the business into the full-service window treatment design center it is today.
Design and construction have been part of Nikki’s life from an early age. As the fifth generation of a family involved in custom home construction and architecture, she has a natural appreciation for how design, craftsmanship, and technical details come together in a home.
Her approach begins with listening and understanding how clients actually live in their spaces: how they use a room, how they feel about light and privacy, and what they need their window treatments to do. Those conversations guide the recommendations Nikki and her team make.
She is committed to preserving the skill and craftsmanship behind custom work and to creating an experience that feels organized, collaborative, and personal.
