Reflecting on Three Years of Progress at Savannah Window Fashions

This has been a year of success, growth, and remarkable projects for Savannah Window Fashions, and I have so much gratitude for my team, our clients, and our industry partners.

2023 marked three years since I stepped into the role of owner of Savannah Window Fashions. And even though it seemed an unlikely career change from corporate advertising, it was perfect in so many ways. I’ve had a lifelong love and appreciation of homes and architectural details, and Savannah Window Fashions has had the honor of crafting and installing custom window treatments for many beautiful homes in the Low Country, and beyond.

Since purchasing this business in 2020, my mission has been to continue to uphold Savannah Window Fashions reputation for quality, expertise, and excellence, while moving the business forward with improvements to our systems and processes. I knew when I purchased the business that modern technology could take the success already achieved by Jeanne, the former owner and a dear friend, to the next level.

Communication is the cornerstone of our processes, and I have introduced a digital project management system that ensures every detail of our large-scale projects are handled with meticulous care. This provides our clients with a seamless and stress-free experience, and confidence that their window treatments and soft goods are in good hands.

Our clients know that they can look to us for expert advice, and that we will handle all the little details that go into custom window treatments. There’s no need to be an expert in deductions, fabrics, hardware, linings, or all the other components. Our project management tools and processes allow us to take care of everything, from design, to measurements, to fabrication and professional installation.

A business is only as strong as its team. In addition to having established new systems and processes, I’m proud to lead a group of talented women who share my commitment to providing a concierge-level service. Together, we’ve evolved over the past three years to meet the needs of our growth and our plans for the future.

Our team also loved having the opportunity to share our stories and experiences on platforms like the Window Treatments For Profit podcast, the WCAA National blog, and the Sew Much More. I'm grateful for the chance to connect with a broader audience and learn from the wealth of knowledge within our industry.

As we celebrate the end of 2023, my team and I are looking forward to what’s to come in 2024. The next years hold limitless possibilities, and I can't wait to begin this exciting chapter with all of you.

Thank you, for trusting us with your home, your most important investment. Happy Holidays from the Savannah Window Fashions Team!
